Said And Done update - Endless Roads preview / Invading Europe / distro update

I hope this is the right forum. No idea… Feel free to move this if this is not the right one…

If ayone can help us out with shows in France, please get in touch! We would love to play France this time, we already drove through it two times (on our way to Spain and England). Now it’s time to play there

So after a short time of writing new songs, preparing for and recording a new release we’re getting geared up again. Full speed ahead. Here’s the deal:

ENDLESS ROADS

Maybe you’ve heard about it already, maybe you didn’t, but our upcoming release is called « Endless Roads » and will be released by the great people at Shield Recordings again. We’ve recorded 6 songs at De Studio in Asse (Belgium) on the 16 and 17th of February. 4 of those will end up on a lovely 7", all 6 of them will end up on the MCD. At the moment we’re working on the mastering and artwork. Pre-order information and MP3’s will follow in April. Expect a release in May.

For now we can only offer you a small preview/teaser from our trip to the studio. Nothing special, just a compilation of some shots from the studio with the recordings mixed in (please note they’re NOT the final masters). It has to do for now though.

UPCOMING SHOWS

We’ve got the following shows coming up.

2008-03-15 @ Die Volksschule, Moers (GER) / Break The Chains Fest #3 - Day II
2008-03-16 @ De Stage, Arnhem (NL) / Remain LP Release show
2008-04-11 @ Sirkonflex, Zedelgem (BE)
2008-04-19 @ De Wissel, Mill (NL)
2008-05-01 @ Mechelen (BE)
2008-05-02 @ Brugge (BE)

We’re working on some other shows, but since they’re not confirmed yet there’s no point in listing them here, keep an eye on our site or Myspace. Aside from that we’re planning a short trip through Europe to visit Spain again. We’ve had a great time on our first trip and we’re hoping for the same kind of experience. Below you can find what route we’ve got in mind, something like that.

DISTRO

You might have seen that the Pressure Release tapes (a small tape label I’m running) were available from our site for quite some time already, but now we decided to give the whole online distro an update. Aside from the Said And Done & Pressure Release Records (Maaswater Veenlijk tape out! Get it now so you can sell it on E-Bay when they’re sold out) stuff we also carry a selection of zines. Get in touch if you want to see your stuff up there. Check it out www.saidanddone.org/distro.

Take care and keep thinking,

PS> Reflections is putting out the Only Living Witness records on vinyl. We’re siked, you should be too. R.I.P. Justice. I’m working on the first issue of my « Some Will Never Know » zine. Keep an eye out for it somewhere in 2008. In the meantime make sure to pick up Clocked In #3 zine.

issue #2 was really good !
I’ll get a hold on #3 then.

You will not be dissapointed, it’s a good read. And aside from that Wouter is a really cool dude. It wil be the last Clocked In issue though. He’s going to do something different.

i’m still waiting for the S&D promo CD :shifty:

Welcome to the « cauchemar »

I like Said & Done but you know that, do you remember ? :shifty:

For real? Didn’t Gert-Jan from the label send you one? Send me a mail and I’ll try to get this sorted. Sorry!

@ Sugar. You were the dude I talked to in Belgium? I kept thinking about that man, I usually don’t forget that kind of stuff… Sorry man, I felt really stupid when you approached me haha. I vaguely remember talking to someone from French and saying that I thought it was amazing to see that they traveled all the way from French for a show like Light The Fuse. (I already said something like this in the topic about the Justice show, but I don’t know if you read that).

If anyone can hook us up with a show in France that would be great.

Babelfish told me « cauchemar » means « nightmare ». Is it that bad? Learn me some French

No that was me, forget it now you didn’t recognize me our love story is over haha

Don’t worry man the LTF was 1 year and half from now and we talked maybe 2 minutes before some band started to play so i can understand you didn’t really recognize me, see you next time !

man, I just talked with you on soulseek few months ago. so it’s normal that you don’t remember this, but that’s fun to see you here!

haha sugar, I do remember talking to you! (I don’t use Soulseek that much maybe that’s why). I was referring to « jackie.sardou » though. He approached me in Belgium and I didn’t remember him which made me feel stupid. And I thought we had a good thing going hahaha, uhuh. Oh well

Anyway, if anyone can hook us up with a show, or know people that might. Let us know!

Friday the 11th of July will be in Rennes, France.

in Rennes, FRENCH

mais qu’es-tu racontes Rafou ?

C’est juste que le gars utilise toujours le mot French au lieu de France. :decompo:

French Fries?

speak french or die !

share or ban

Je ne parlais pas le Francais. Je suis desole.

Or something like that.

Anyway the english language simply is the best for only one reason: the term « dingle berries »; this definitly is the best stuff a language has done… ever…

« Dingle berries »? Never heard of that before, but it sounds amazing haha

« Dingle berries »? Never heard of that before, but it sounds amazing haha ]

The definition (according to http://www.urbandictionnary.com):

dingleberry

A smallish, semi-dry, extraordinarily tenacious remnant of fecal matter which, when unwittingly rolled into a mixture with toilet paper lint by the action of wiping, becomes almost irremovably entangled among ones anal hair, a situationality exacerbated by the vigorous chafing and friction between the buttocks and most commonly remedied by the sad and almost entirely unavoidable remedy of plucking out at its root the individual hair to which each dingleberry is conjoined. Of related interest, dingleberries are often noted as having the vague odor of undigested corn or peanuts.
